BUMAS Muzzle for Shih Tzu
The BUMAS muzzle made of light and soft BioThane® was specially developed by us for the Shih Tzu and similar sized dogs. This muzzle fits your dog if the snout of your dog measures approx. 15cm (+/- 1cm) when closed and approx. 3,50cm (+/- 0.5cm) in length. If the Shih Tzu BUMAS does not fit your dog, you can return it undamaged and unworn within 2 weeks and, if you wish, order a BUMAS custom-made muzzle for your dog instead.
The right BUMAS muzzle for the required area of application
The breed specific BUMAS muzzles are produced with a small number of BioThane® straps. This results in a lightweight, soft muzzle that offers your dog the highest possible wearing comfort. Ideal for traveling on public transport, for gondola rides, strolling through public places and similar. If your big issue is grabbing from the ground, aggressive behaviour, high stress levels, etc., then we clearly recommend a custom-made BUMAS muzzle with the appropriate safety options! BioThane® muzzles without safety options are not recommended for dogs with a strong intention to cause damage.
Shih Tzu muzzles - Developed from years of experience
We have been able to develop our breed specific muzzles from years of experience in the production of BioThane® muzzles. For this reason, there `s no BUMAS muzzle for all dog breeds, as there are large variations in size, even within one breed. But not only the size is important, also the shape and cut, and for some breeds a forehead strap (flat snouts), or a metal buckle (long fur, trimming). We have also attached great importance to this when developing the BUMAS breed specific muzzles, because the best wearing comfort for your dog is most important to us!
